This book is dedicated to waves – presented through the lens of eight female surf photographers. Spending a lot of time by the Norwegian coastline, these amazing women capture the essence of the Nordic surf scene – from the lineup, the air and the beach.

My hope for this book is to show the different sides of the Scandinavian cold water surf scene – a way of life that might inspire and amaze you. Fast changing light, extreme weather, all the colours of the seasons and captivating surroundings. The photographers contributing in this book brings their individual stories and perspectives. So why not combine our efforts into one diverse expression of what we are all part of?

This was such a fun and creative project that took us through many different stages. We learned a lot through the process, paper and print techniques. And it was an honour to be working with such talented photographers
